Educational Guidance

Identify the best school for your child based on their strengths and weaknesses. Make a realistic plan to accelerate your child’s potential to achieve their goal. The plan continues to support your child from when they start their studies in the UK until they gain a top-class university entrance.

How it works

A school report is a very important indicator of how your child is progressing in school. We do not take it lightly.

With the on-going reformation in GCSE and A- Levels, a clear understanding of grade conversion among other information is essential. We do not just translate a school report into your native language. Rather, we explain to you what each section really means.

School reports can be a bit formulaic sometimes. Speaking to teachers on a parent meeting is an excellent opportunity to get to know about your child as an individual to be developed. This is irreplaceable by school reports.

This is where our educational expertise really comes in to help you support your child. We explain to you how your child performs in a language that international parents can understand and relate.

We also draw on our extensive experience to advise on realistic and effective solutions. We regularly review and adjust the plan accordingly.

We have great confidence in schools we work with. We closely work with you and the school to support your child. However we acknowledge that pupils have their own learning style. When their learning style disagrees with mainstream school teaching, we source only the finest tutors we can get to help your child reclaim the confidence.

Schools usually have one or another form of career support on university applications. But if your child needs more bespoke guidance we bring in accredited senior career advisers to closely work with you and your child. You will be confident with your child’s decision because it is a well-thought one.

A career pursuit seems something so far away for young students. But due to the narrowing down nature of the UK higher education system, it is important to think about career even from year 9 (one year before GCSE). Along with school support, career advice will be given to our students whenever required, especially from a perspective of an overseas parent.

Things could go wrong but we know we are prepared. When your child’s results are very different from school predictions, our calm and timely approach will give you peace of mind.

When it came to choosing a guardianship company, we had 2 recommendations (with competitive rates) from the school placement agency. However, after careful consideration, we went with Wisdom Spring Education on 9th August as I felt that they are more knowledgeable and experienced. Wisdom Spring provided all necessary preparation for Tiger straightaway whilst he was in China until Dr Wu accompanied him on his first day in his boarding school on 5th Sept.

Dr Wu and her team are very responsive and answers my queries on time bar the time difference and we have regular discussions regarding my son’s progression. When my son first started the boarding school, it was a big shock to him and needed time to adjust and plenty of guidance. I was very grateful for the professional advice given to my son by Wisdom Spring which really helped him.

Zijian has been studying in the UK for nearly a year and we are very happy with his progress. At the beginning, we were very worried about him as he never lived away from home and English was not his strongest subject.
